Happy New Year from Waterfowls in Oregon

After nearly 3 weeks of rain, we returned to the wetland.  We found many waterfowls in the reservoirs.

"Hi, we are American Wigeons."

As last year, many American Coots were there.  I noticed they often liked to run on water.

"We are good at running on the water.  Look!"

In another pond, we saw many Northern Pintails.

"Look at my beautiful pintail."
