I used to see a brownish one all the time, but this time the blue large one appeared here for the first time.
Sensing the high air pressure coming this way, a female Rufous Hummingbird returned from somewhere.
"I'm checking on your blueberries."
Up high on a pine tree, anther bird friend, Cedar Waxwing, was checking on the berries.
"I am by myself, pre-inspecting the neighborhood
for my family. When the berries are ripen, we will stop over."
Sharing the berries with birds is ok for me since two of us can not even finish everything frozen thru the winter months.
