Up on a Mosque - Kashgar, and Urumqi, China

At Kashgar, the northwestern edge of China bordering with Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhfstan, Uygur people, descendants of ancient Turkish tribes, have lived for centuries.   Hundreds of years ago, the area religion was changed from Buddhism to Islam.  Chinese Muslims (Uygur) are gentle folks.

Up on the front of the famous Grand Aidkah Mosque, doves gathered, observing people's daily activities.

Uygur writing is similar to Arabian.

In Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Autonomous District、we stopped over at International Bazaar, where white doves flew away from a mosque rooftop.

There are a lot of doves wherever you go in China.
