A Beautiful Sunrise for Early Risers

This week had several days of sunny weather.  In addition, one morning we had a spectacular sunrise only for a very short while.  Something good happens for early risers.

Guess what birds like to do on a nice day.  Not only they often take an outing to somewhere else (like people), but also they like to take a bath to their heart's content.

House Sparrow, male:  "A splash with a big wing flap.  I like to take a long bath in the warm sun."

Song Sparrow:  "See, I told you today is gonna be a super day for my bath."

Oregon Junco, male:  "Now it's my turn!"
