Mid Spring Scene

March weather is chageable.  On nice days we go to the wetland to see waterfowls and summer birds if they are around.

 Gadwall: "We are still here."

Green-winged Teal:  "We, too."

Northern Shoveler: "We take time here."

There are some birds who always stay here.

Trumpeter Swan:  "I am injured and always stay around
here.  I have many friends, so there's no problem."

Suet Friends

The warm weather is finally back.  More crocuses are in bloom.

Downy Woodpeckers returned to the backyard.  He visits here to eat the suet.

"I like your suet."

Someone is more crazy about my backyard suet?  She comes everyday to pick up the suet crumbs on the ground and quickly disappears (very cautious).

"Me.  I am staying in town longer than
usual this year.  Pretty soon, I will return to the woods."

The wetland in Spring after the snowfall.  The snow finally melted away and the trail was a little muddy.

"I am hiding in the bush.  Can you see me?πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€"

A sunny and warm day made everyone sleepy here.

"After the cold snow, it is warm.  I am getting sleepy in the bushπŸ™ˆπŸ™‰πŸ™Š."

The coastal mountain range has still some snow left.   Spring is coming slowly here.
