 Backyard friends are busy finding food here.

"Beauty Berries are a little tart, but I like these."😉

Dark and Rainy Days

 It has been dark and rainy.  After a long absence, I saw a Mourning Dove.

"Hi,  it's nice to be back here.  I can find some food during winter."😉

Bewick's Wren:  "I like your suet here."🤩

Western Scrub-Jay:  "I like your seeds, too."👍

One Fall Day at the Wetlands

 One day at the wetlands.  More waterfowl are here.

"We are Bufleheads.  Just came  down here."😄

"We are Hooded Merganser."🤩

"I am American Bittern.  My neck can stretch long.  I like

 to  hang around the reeds."😍👍

The Best Food for Winter

 During the cold months, birds need to warm up their body more.  The suet can help.

"I like it.  It comes in a variety of flavor."😉

 

" We are  Black-capped Chickadee, Red-breasted Nuthatch, 

and Chesnut-backed Chickadee.

 We all agree on that."😄

 

"Before coming here, I did not eat it.  But seeing all my friends eating the suet, I decided to try it.  I learned to like it." 👍

Red Leaves are Here

 The leaves are changing the color.

"I like the red leaves.  It is the season for suet munching."😉

"We see the red blueberry leaves.  But where is the suet?  Our favorite."🤔

"I do not like the suet.  I'd rather eat the seeds on the ground."👍
