The Wetlands in July

 The wetlands nearby have many birds during summer.

"Hi, I am a male American Goldfinch.  

I fly around here in a small flock."👍

"Hi, I am a female House Finch.  I am busy eating the berries."😋

"Hi, I am an Osprey.   I just woke up from my nap on the branch."

(I do not fall easily!)🤩😎🎶

Real Summer Days

 When the evening came on a hot day, a squirrel was stretched out on the lawn.

"Nice to feel the cool ground."😁

 

Anna's Hummingbird: 

"The hotlips are the #1 flower for me."🤩

Chestnut-backed Chickadee: 

 "I am back from the woods today."😄😋

The Wetland Scene

 The real summer arrived here.  Many hot days.   

 

Turkey Vultures:  "Too hot, but we still like it here."😎🎶

Cedar Waxwings (four):  "It's a nice view here."👍

American Robin(lower right):  "I agree."

Bald Eagle, Juvenile:  "I am still young.  I take two years 

or more to get the white head and tail."🦅🤩

Hummingbirds Are Busy

 In my backyard, fuchsias are hanging in full bloom.

Anna's Hummingbird loves the nectar.

"I love the nectar."

"But I still like the hotlips, too.  

The white petal just came off ."
